Malesh - Stay Low EP
DECMINI029
Decoded Mini Records
BUY NOW
After his very successful body/need EP on our sister label Decoded Mini which gathered multiple positive feedbacks from around the electronic world, the Croatian born malesh is back on the Decoded label with a vengeance.
His Stay Low EP is a dark work out with a low ARP2600 bassline, which is set to destroy any big sound system with its very low fundamental frequency (30Hz!). This of course was not the only reason it was used, the main reason was the musicality, and that it complements the underlying hypnotic vocals very well with the occasional touch of humanity via the deeply hidden female vocals on a break or two in the track. The track also reflects malesh's current state of mind and his earlier musical influences in life.
On the flipside Marko Nastić provides an exciting remix with a strong humane message, something that Claude Young would produce in his slower vibes. It is interesting to see how another artist receives and interpretes an idea from the other one. In Marko's case it is a positive wonderful vibe, but with both tracks firmly arranged for the floor. -

In parallel, he also did work on the “Bodywork” programme in “OTV” club. Soon afther that, with a team of 5 fellow DJs, he founded “Body&Soul” – a cult house programme in the famous zagreb club “THE BEST”, where many famous names of the global electronic scene came to play, such as: David Morales, Shapeshifters, Barbara Tucker, Miguel Migs, Phats&Small, Claude Monnet, Silicone Soul etc. There he stayed till 2005. BIOGRAPHY
It was in the end of the eighties and Alexander was a deejay who just spun hiphop. This all altered when he bought a friend some of the earliest house records in 1989. Alexander himself also got infected with the ever spreading house virus and started being a house and techno deejay himself. By then Alexander already attended the new and mostly illegal rave parties that were held throughout the country. Sometimes it was an abandoned warehouse and sometimes just a fine spot somewhere in nature where people came together to dance and have fun all night.
In these early days Alexander and friend Michel Becks also caught up the idea to drop parties theirselves. The first venue where they did this was a small place in his hometown Beverwijk. It was a massive success, people from all over the province showed up and the Eye on the Future concept was born. Not satisfied with the small venue Alexander and Michel started changing locations and found an new homebase for the events in Amsterdam. In a place called The Repetitiehuis they now started giving parties where different styles of music came together in one musically challenging concept.
Lots of deejays that are now internationally known artists got there first deejay gig via these Eye on the Future parties. People like Adam Beyer, justice, holgi star,Valentino kanzyani, martin eyerer, einmusik, marc romboy Joel Mull, Chris Liebing , Ben Sims etc etc made their Dutch debut on Eye on the future. While the parties grew and the artists grew the organisation grew likewise. This all culminated in receiving an nomination for best Dutch organisation in 1998. Even nowadays they still do parties on regular bases and they still invite up and coming artists who never visited Holland before. But Alexander is not just known as an organiser of parties. He is also a well known deejay and producer.
He played at parties and clubs like Dancevalley (mainstage),Loveland Festival(mainstage),Shoeless, Electronation, edit festival, sunrise(poland)Wooferland festival(closing set)Turnmills(london),katerholzig,Kunsthalle,Kit kat club, maedchens internat, suicide circus Watergate(Berlin), Studio 80, Awakenings, Kultur Brauerei(Berlin),Ministry of sound Defqon, Heineken Horizonz, 5 days off, New Frontier, House classics and other big festivals and clubs. Alexander also had a bundle of residencies like Mazzo, Time, Stalker, Hemkade, Patronaat and Lichtfabriek. Another highlight was his residency at the infamous HQ parties held monthly in the Melkweg in Amsterdam. Here he deejayed for an always enthousiastic crowd. He also played in a lot of coutries worldwide like Sweden, Hungary, Bosnia, Ukrain, Russia, Belgium, Croatia, England and Germany to name a few.
Throughout the years Alexander style didnt changed that much.. It was and still is a mixture of house, techno and techouse. An evening with Alexander is an uplifting journey through different styles and musical eras. Not just is Alexander known as a good deejay, but also for his outstanding skills as a producer. The first serious track he ever made already caught the attention of Global Underground, the groundbreaking series of CDs that sold millions of copies worldwide and after that he made, mixed and remixed dozens of tunes that represent his love for good house music and wel produced techno tacks. He did tracks and remixes for labels like Subliminal, Pacha, Bellboy, Sway, Zync, Upstruct, Bamboo, Supreme, Madnurse, Circle, Global Underground, Concept,Unt,Suena Hermosa, Decoded Mini Records etc. etc. -

We're talking about a Dj, about a performer from whom the audience always expects the best! Then, once performing on stage, he is able to push back the limits and boarders between all the genres of Techno music to create what can only be describe as a true energetic presence behind the decks.
Dean Amo has visited since he started out as a dj a large list of clubs all over Europe receiving a great support from his audience. His also have shared the dj booth with some of the greatest dj of the planet in parties like Kozzmozz, H2O or Pro-jekt In Belgium, Kiosk Nouveau Casino, Bindy in France, Code, Dollar, Exile boat, Matrix in Serbia, or Row14, Sala Becool, Sala Del Cel, Techno flash festival, Cerkal festival, Torn de nit, Vogue or Zentraus in Spain.
However, he will wait almost 10 years since his beginnings to really decide to explore the concept of creating and sharping his own sound using computers and machines. The result appears in 2009 when his first Ep is released on Audecks records came up others on Climax, Decoded and Decoded mini or Gotham Grooves records.
In 2007 he founded www.rytualbookings.com in order to bring a marketing and booking platform to some new talents and some more consolidated ones such as Albert Rodriguez (Sp), Agent orange (NYC), Becka (NYC), Dean Amo (FR), Drumcomplex (Nl), Eric Fetcher (Fr), Fugas tam tam (Sp), Gabriel d´Or and Bodroy (Sp), Jan Liefhebber (Nl), Phun(Q)Matic live (Fr), Shewby aka Romaric (Fr), Spektral (Sp) and the Obscurs live (Fr). Last but not least, he is also performing with his younger brother Eric Fetcher under the name "The Obscurs live" using a different setup format since their show together joins the efficiency of dijing to the versatility of the analog hardware live act. The show is massive!
Definitely Techno oriented with a special "something more" that party heads do love so much... The show!!

In the summer of 1999 he formed the Speed Progress organization. The organization had a show at the local radio station , where techno music was played. After Darko met with Dejan Milicevic and Marko Nastic , the love towards music blossomed even further , resulting in even more involvement in local music scene .
With time Darko's mixing skills and music taste evolved in strange combination of hard bass lines and soft melodies , mixing raw European techno tunes with emotional tracks from Detroit . When he plays he loves to take people on a musical journey, taking them at the beginning , from soft minimal sounds to hard and relentless noises at the end of the night .
With Dj Kibz Darko was resident dj in famous club Lifka where he played with Advent , Dave Clarke , Rush , Luke Slater , Space Djz , Umek etc... In the begining of 2005 Darko with his friends started Speed Progress Records. The first release got good marks and comments.

BIOGRAPHY
While he was 17, he was very inspired with artists such as Joseph Capriati, Tony Rohr, Dubfire and that's the reason why he had found himself firstly in minimal techno sound. He bought his first pair of decks and decided to start professional career on electronic scene.
In 2008 he has joined Fast Forward group and he became a resident of club Skipper in Zadar. As a resident, greatly contributes up keeping the electronic scene in Zadar with bringing domestic and for eing greatests DJ-s.
In summer 2009, he met Edy C from Šibenik, who is DJ, producent and owner of Decoded Records label. They started great partnership by creating weekly serials of parties which were named the Ultimate Clubbing. And for the first time they invited and hosted famous names in that parts of Croatia.
By the end of 2009 he has totally found himself in a new stlyle. He threw away minimal style of techno and started new hard style, industrial style.
Inspired by new artists such as Brian Sanhaji, Edit Select, Audio Injection, Gary Beck, Chris Liebing… He is slowly designing his own production.
He is joining Decoded Records team, one of the most succesfully domestic techno labels which cooperates with big artists such as Woody MacBride, Marko Nastić and Rennie Foster.
Inside Decoded records is another label also owned by Edy C. Decoded mini is for fans who like minimal, softer sound. Both labels have together more than 50 great editions and it will be surely more of them in the future with their hard work.
As a guest in many clubs in Dalmatia, Istra and the other parts of Croatia he worked with a lot of great names such as Billy Nasty, La-Di-Da, Valentino Kanzyani, David Morales, Astral Projection, Marko Nastić, Ian Pooley, Dejan Miličević, Veztax, Aneuria, Ian F, Siniša Tamamović, Mladen Tomić, Speedy, Ivan Komlinović, Miss Sunshine, Pero Fullhouse…
His currently priority is production because till now he had only few releases in Decoded Records.
Almost every weekend you can hear his 4 deck set which is played with big heart and a huge love for music. Danceable and rhythmic but also dark with low frequencies.
That's surely set that will attach you to the dance floor and a great artist from who you will have a chance to hear a lot of great stuff. -

BIOGRAPHY
Ian F. was blessed with the awareness that music is all about the feelings, soul searching, passion and dedication. It’s an art form based on inhaling impressions of the World how it is, processing them intimately, while expressing your own vision of the World how it should be trough notes and harmonies. Ian F does this on various levels: as a producer, deejay and promoter.
Long time Ambasada Gavioli resident and a driving force of Colours Music has explored the art of improvisation at an early age, indulged heavily on alternative as a teenager, and nurtured this passion even more after becoming a music professional more than a decade ago.
His vision of club culture coincides with the philosophy of Jesus Loved You collective in which he acts as an artist, A&R and event manager. He is a regular supporting act at the legendary K4 club in Ljubljana and inescapable performer at major events and festivals in Slovenia and wider region. He performed on dance floors in Ibiza, Greece, Italy, Romania, Ukraine, Netherlands, Austria, Hungary, ex Yugoslavian countries...
Currently he spends most of the off-deck time developing his own concept of studio process built on blending electronic and organic sounds trough collaborations with various artists and live musicians, being focused on producing complex arrangements rather than striped-down tracks. After a series of releases on selected labels in Europe, Asia and the USA (Jesus Loved You, Sleep is Commercial, Session DeLuxe, SK Supreme), he’s dedicated to spread his smooth eclectic noise even further in the forthcoming months...

ECLECTICISM: from jazz improvisation to the sound of future
It's not unusual to put a kid behind the piano at the age of six. But when his peers where still learning to play Bach and Chopin, Hague (NL) born Jan Jakomin was already introduced to the art of jazz improvisation. So it’s kind of natural he acquired a healthy taste for fresh, modern, weird, provocative music, poetry, movies, design and other art expressions. “I guess this explains how I got involved in the electronic dance culture. I was, and still am, attracted to everything new. I noticed this stuff on some Italian radio stations even before the rave phenomenon hit Slovenia. I got hooked as I learned more about the music and the whole movement. I spent countless nights recording tunes from Italian radios on cassettes and listening to them on walkman on a way to school the morning after. But as this was well before the euphoria hit our home turf, I was considered weirdo who listens to some strange music, by most of the other kids.”
Moving to high school it became easier for Jan to find soul mates. Especially after Ambasada Gavioli club started to operate in his school backyard. “This is where the whole generation of young people got in touch with the scene. At the age of 15 I became flyer-boy and got to know then resident deejays Umek and Valentino Kanzyani and they are still two of my big role models. This was back in 1996. The year after I teamed up with Andrew Technique and Alexander Madness, we bought our first gear and started mixing records,” remembers the time when he became DJ Ian F, now already mature and established, but still very fresh sounding genre bending artist. “Gavioli was also the place where I got my big chance and spent the next eight years as a resident deejay. I’ve fine-tuned my knowledge of every angle of club culture: from performing, programming the set, to booking, sales of drinks and other aspects of party-organization. And I got in touch with some of the leading artists as they performed in the club on the regular basis.”
At the end of the century Ian F became a resident deejay of the Sub Sub club in the Slovenian capital city Ljubljana and was hand picked by Valentino Kanzyani to open or close his now legendary all-night performances as a support deejay. That gave additional momentum to Ian’s career, and he became regular performer at leading indoor and outdoor raves in the region and shared another residency with DJ Psiho at the Colosseum in Opatia, Croatia. Psiho also introduced him to the art of music production and they've released two joint ventures on Annuaki Records.
CHALLENGES: Productions. Live Act. New expressions.
Being obsessed with searching for some fresh stuff all the time, the life of producer is a constant battle for Ian F: “Currently I spend most of the off-deck time developing my own sound under the guidance of my studio guru Tomy DeClerque." Ian F’s recent production Subconscious was picked up by local Apple distributor for a TV commercial and can be heard on the MTV. Some other releases on Tested/Agent Funk, Mashtronic rec., Jesus Loved You (Valentino Kanzyani) and Traffica (Marko Nastić) are scheduled and the preliminary arrangements with some UK and Germany based labels were already struck. “Another intriguing project is Flux, for which I am joining forces with Tomy DeClerque, KayKay and Dave Morgan. Flux is a unique live act, a mixture of live music performance and electronic live act with the addition of other art expressions. It’s very alive. The structure and expression of this project varies all the time as it is under constant development. We’ve already performed in Gavioli and at one open-air party, but a lot of work still has to be put into this project.”
Performing at the parties is just one side of Ian F as a musician. He indulges on combining his passion for music with other art expressions on regular basis. He's no stranger to performing at art and fashion exhibitions, poetry recitals, teaming up with pop artists and rock bands or developing soundtrack for an on-line art gallery. He even produced music and performed with a contemporary dance company at selected venues, including premiere at the 7th Annual Gala at the national theatre, which was broadcasted live on the Slovenian national television.
REFERENCES: Performances. Releases. Collaborations.
Ian F is established artist in the region, performing in Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina on the regular basis. His poison is techno & tech-house with expressive warm harmonies and little touches of other genres. As a long running resident of some of the top clubs and events in the north Adriatic region he already performed alongside most of the top techno artists as well as the biggest names in the industry such as Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Derrick May, Tiësto, Steve Lawler, Sasha, John Digweed if we name just a few. He's a resident deejay of Ambasada Gavioli, Fetch the Vibe events and official ambassador of Slovenian Haineken Music events.

BIOGRAPHY
Born 22nd of June 1976 in Zagreb, Ivan was connected to all types of music since early childhood. Since he was 13, he's been deeply interested in development of Hi-Fi electronics and a frequent guest in most of the specialized stores and local Hi-Fi fares, building up his knowledge and becoming a competent critic. He got into the world of electronic music in the beginning of the 90's (in that time as a part of very narrow audience and without previous musical knowledge) and simply fell in love with new way of communication in and through music.
His encounter with DJ profession happened in 1993, when he stood behind a home-made mixing surface for the first time and came across the term beat-mixing. Through his first, unselected record purchases he got to know most of the sub-styles in electronic dance music and out of the whole selection, Ivan completely found himself in various styles of techno. Years of intensive observation and following-up of the whole scene, combined with hundreds of hours practicing mixing techniques and all kinds of DJ exibitions, finally pushed him to develope his own perspective toward electronic music, with very particular way of its presentation.
Judging by music style he's a techno DJ, but alltough the majority of his set is techno oriented, he often plays new skool minimalistic techno/house tunes, considering cronological or style boundaries to be boring and outdated. That's why he doesn't think much of the DJ's that always and for hours and hours play the same or similar limited sound.
He's not liable to fullfill wishes of audience while «working» on the set, but his goal is to animate the audience with music and approach that are apropriate in the ambient itself, the mood and his own impression of the moment. He never makes the set in advance, but keeps several rules in mind, rules that are differently presented on every occasion: every show has to have its introduction, culmination, plot and disentanglement.
Ivan’s DJ set is journey through techno styles builded arround strong musical base and his lively improvisation. Technical skills helps him to add even more dynamic to his musical approach when needed.
Ivan played on parties with DJ's like: Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Claude Young, Derrick May, Oxia, Thievery Corporation, Gus Gus, Faithless, Craig Walsh, Plastikman, Billy Nasty,Green Velvet, Umek, Valentino Kanzyani, Jack de Marseille, Joris Voorn, Mr.C, Marco Carola, Alex Bau, La-Di-Da, Misjah, Trevor Rockliffe, Tim Taylor, Samuel L. Session, Deetron, Thomas Schumacher, Funk d' Void, SLAM (live), Rino Cerrone, Kelly Hand, Aril Brikha(live), Marko Nastic, Dejan Milicevic, Colin Dale, DJ Bone, C1, Ben Long, Jel Ford, Simon Coyle, Phil Kieran, Alexander Kowalski, Jean-Marie Kone, Pero-Fullhouse, Haris, Colin Dale, Chris Finke...
Today he is definitely one of the leading artists at Croatian scene. After almost 18 years of DJing with different types of tools, he made full circle and went back to, in his opinion, true approach to DJ profession; vinyl only!
Music production is probably something that he takes extremely serious; His studio is equipped with various pieces of hardware. From hi tech modern drummachines and samplers to vintage synths, stompboxes racked eqs, compressors, pres..
As an experienced sound designer, and mixer, Ivan produces most of element of his music. Avoiding any kind of commercial available sample and loop banks is vital part of his production philosophy. “If you have idea about sounds you would like to have in your track, most efficient and original way is to produce it from the scratch.”
His tracks has been released on labels such as In-Tec Records (Carl Cox's label), Wet Muzik, Laus Records, BM Slim, Omegaritam Records, Eskape Records, Subconce Records, 4 Season Music, Decoded Music, Work Hard Play hard and so on...
Today, Ivan is busy with his studio busyness, as a writer, producer, remixer, mastering engineer and soundengineer too. His other job is sound design and audio engineering at oldest croatian motion picture facility. -

BIOGRAPHY
One of the most interesting younger artists of the club-electronic scene in Serbia is Jan Nemecek, born in 1989. in Belgrade.
Due to family musical tradition, at an early age he showed interest for creating electronic music - he started to record with a primitive rhythm machine and a tape machine. At the age of 10 he wrote music for the children's series as well as for ads for films and TV series. Over time, he switched to MIDI and sequencers, as well as working in a software enviroment, and formed his own studio. He spent several years working on ambient music (the albums Disappearance and Through the Planetary Void), as well as various multimedia works.
In 2006, he started the collaboration with Marko Nastic and Marko Milosavljevic, with whom he is working together in the studio, but also on the road, with his live act. Thus he performed at Exit in that same year, barely aged 17, making him one of the youngest performers at this event ever. In the same year he remixed Nastic's single U Are The Reason, and released a solo CD/DVD album Afterimage, while the set from Exit was released as a special edition acoompanying the Yellow Cab magazine, with a pressing of 15.000 copies. A year later he co-founded with Danilo Tomic one of the first Serbian net-labels - Norbu, where he turns to a more experimental side of electronica, minimal and house with his Kalope alias.
Contrary to most DJs and producers on the local techno scene, Jan prefers playing live, presenting the development of his tracks on the dancefloor. If there is a question about what he is playing at a particular moment coming from an excited clubber, you will always hear that Jan plays only his own stuff. Earlier in 2008. he released his debut 12" for Traffica and the titled track appears also on the latest edition of Belgrade Coffee Shop compilation. -

"A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are made for"
Child of an a shipbuilder, born in the time of cold war; direction Juri Paik took when in the end of 90's made a turning point and went winding way Djinga and production. Electronic music he was making spontaneously was added on punk/new wave childhood, somewhere on prismatically floor Split's night club "Up & Down" at the end of the 90's. Gramophone and mixette slowly replaced the band and the garage. In accord with that period influence on global underground scene, first trophy in listeners/collectionars carrier, Juri Paik founded himself in techno music. On the influence of those days assistant of Inaf's, he explored music production and out of his expectations he ejects vinil on promo/white label, extremely influential Missile Records from London. He is still working on production and he is one loop in Decoded Records chain where he notes couple of releases. Eliminates hiperproduction and quietly experiments in pursuits for basses wich will be incredible fashionable. As a beggining, sound of Juri Paik's sets expanded from Intec's, Terminal M's and Primate's, all to variety capilars techno and house music. From the day we entered in "digital period", he admits he values the most the german scene; because of the precisely production and also because superior visual identification under strong influence from Berlin. Current favorites in production for him are; SuperFlu, Andhim, Solomun etc., and in sets he promotes organic notes in at first non-emotional hypnotized modern age sound.
With experience he got the chance to take over gramophones in Dubrovnik, Belgrade, Sarajevo, Zagreb and most of dalmatians night clubs and underground club evenings in the last 10 years. He is also an all time dj at fashion shows in Split.

BIOGRAPHY
Since his very early age Nonnus has always felt related to technology and it is no surprise that as he grew up he got deeply involved with it in many different levels: professionally, emotionally and musically.
Started DJing in 1997 and produced some parties by himself mainly to spread his new and fresh music around portugal to people that had never heard it before.
In 98, after playing in several big events including Good Mood (Boom Festival original producer company), he became one of the first international portuguese trance djs, with a booking in South Africa together with couple of Boom Festival DJs.
In 2000 he joined portuguese techno-trance party producer Hipnose as DJ / Line Up Manager / Promoter and in the following year he performed in some of the biggest portuguese clubs including Hardclub, Pacha (Ofir), Paradise Garage and taking part on some of the biggest dance events in Portugal like Optimus Hype@Meco 2001 with over 30000 people.
He was also involved in the launch of Flow Records, the pioneer portuguese trance label (currently focused on progressive house, house, electronica) before deciding to go on his own way and start his dream sci-fi label project, Silicon Records.
In 2004 Nonnus participated in the first Heineken Found@Thirst DJ contest judged by Paul Oakenfoald and was one of the 3 portuguese finalists earning the right to perform next to big stars Jeff Mills and Timmo Maas
The logical evolution from DJ to producer evolved slowly as the technology involved in music production mutated from the exclusive hardware extravaganza to the actual software dominant democracy.
Testing inovative solutions at that time like Rebirth or learning the basics of midi sequencing and recording with Cubase VST was fun and educative but never a real production friendly environment.
Only with the arrival of Reason, Cubase SX and the newly developed VST/VSTi technology he felt confortable enough to start developing full featured tracks
hoping them to grow into fully developed music. Later, Ableton Live became his main tool for creating his music and performing live shows.
He focused on finding his own musical language and sound groove instead of following established styles, constantly improving his production techniques and tools until reaching his own unique sound: Hi Tech.
In 2007 he released his debut album on Silicon Records “3G: Audio Upgrade”, quickly followed by a single release with his co project Polux (with Porter Rhodes) on spanish label 24 Bit Records.
On 2008 he created / developed iTouchMidi, the pioneer iOS suite of midi controllers (available on the App Store).
Currently in South America promoting Silicon Records, Nonnus is available for bookings (nonnus@silicon-records.com) -

My name is Norbert Meszes, I was born in Szombathely (Hungary) and I have been living here. However, in Hungary, Budapest and Lake Balaton region are my favorite places. I was about 12 years when I started dealing with electronic music. My friends showed the world of the parties.
Initially, we were listening to popular music, but there was a rapid change to the direction of progressive house.
My musical taste was forming continuously. We were going to a party (yes, at this age) where DJ Budai was playing music. From this night everything was changed. Because of Budai & Vic and I Love Deep events (Ilovedeep Produkció) I like techno music, then deep house and tech house. Nowadays I hear and I know many styles, but when I play or write music, styles deep house, tech house and techno mentioned are the determinants.

Boris Boras, Technician, Producer & Dj based in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Hercegovina. It was only natural for a kid who grew up in the late 80`s with the sounds of Soft Cell, Inner City & Technotronic to see himself in Detroit sound in the early 90`s, only to draw great inspiration from the German minimal techno scene that brutally enslaved him to living, creating & mixing techno.
At the dawn of the new millennium he started promoting electronic music with two of his friends on a local leftfield radio station Sarajevo 202. The concept of this project entitled as Fresh Beats was to lift all Bosnian artists who created and played eclectic & electronic music to a higher level, as well as to maximize their public representation. The project also sponsored almost all parties, promotions and leaflets related to the scene. In the meantime he joined forces with his friends in Netlabel Oscilator and start to regulary delivevering club nights with sets of music that inspired him but also his crew. Parallel to promoting music idea in contributing thru production has made.
In order to that fact Boris create a imprint called Adriatiko Recordings who became a platform for regional artists to bring their own production to the whole world with this Adriatik adittude and similar way of expression. Production line is delivered under several monkilers but, for sure the main one is Borgie witch reprezenting Future, Retro, Electro and sometimes even Disco prominence. Splendex monkiller for some more Minimal & Experminental path, as Boris The Blade when presenting Oldschool Elektro, The Perverts when we talking about some Pornoterrorismo and the last alias Onazis witch presents some Italo, Deep & Chicago House fever.

This DJ and producer from Split grew up with a guitar and a great passion for music that comes from a family, as something natural and inevitable.
Way to electronic music led through a variety of music genres, from metal, to funk and jazz, which was the basic for the understanding of deep house as something new and fascinating ....Mid-nineties, leaves a guitar and starts to mix records.
When it comes to music he is a self-critical and never perfectly satisfied which did not stop him to impact the Split scene because his music tells its own story. Tomislav Rupic is a multimedia artist from Sibenik, Croatia. Coming from a musical family he was always surrounded with instruments and vinyls. He started playing guitar at early age but it wasn't until year 2000 he was introduced to underground electronic music and culture. Being overwhelmed by variety of sounds and possibility to create music all by himself was what got him to start creating electronic music. Because of his musical background and his obsession with technology he was able
to easily create his vision of electronic music. That vision was always melodic, groovy, emotional and most importantly highest sound quality possible. That vision is what drives his passion for music even today.
His music was soon recognized by local musicians and DJs, and thats when he met Edy C. and Aztec. With shared enthusiasm and love for electronic music they formed Incognito Project with the goal of creating cutting edge Techno music. It was very fruitful collaboration resulting in some of the most successful vinyl releases in Croatia. Their tracks were played by many famous DJs around the world.
In 2005.Tomislav Rupic started hisTom DVox alias which was all about going back to his melodic nature. Soon he released his first solo vinyl "Sweet and Crazy" which was dedicated to Lucy, now his wife. Few digital releases followed but that same year he started to work as a video editor at Digital Film which gave him whole new perspective to his music work.
In 2009. he moved to new studio, started releasing music under his real name Tomislav Rupic and founded Pixel Records label, made exclusively for releasing his own music. Today he makes music, sound design for film, video editing, 2D and 3D animations which makes him real multimedia artist pioneer in this new digital age.
Since he was never a DJ, when he performs he does hybrid live/DJ set mixing his musical elements with other peoples music which results in interesting, real time remixes that give unique vibe to his sets. -

Throughout his youth, Tomy DeClerque witnessed at first hand the development of Slovenia's electronic dance scene.
As EDM artists such as Umek and Valentino Kanzyani found global recognition and the country's club scene thrived, it presented the perfect opportunity for a young DeClerque to ride the wave.
His first foray into the world of production came alongside his long- time friend Zox. Together they had early successes with "My Desire" and "Music Makes Me Happy". The latter being licensed to a number of compilations, was also selected by Pete Tong as the Essential New Tune on his BBC radio show.
DeClerque was to take a break from the hectic DJ and producer lifestyle. On his return, it was time to head out solo. His early work for Circle Music, Sprout and Jesus Loved You, brought him much attention and, over the past two years, he has rapidly built a strong following with his work for labels including Intec Digital, BluFin, 1605, Terminal M, Toolroom, Cr2 and more... -

If you already had pleasure to get acquainted with his uplifting mixes and artist production then you know Veztax stands for techno in its most precious form. It all started back in the early 90s, when he joined then bursting Slovenian rave scene. He initially began his career as a partygoer and turned party promoter and a deejay soon afterwards. He spend part of the 90’s on then blooming Amsterdam techno scene, where he, amongst other projects, introduced his long-time pals and now major global artists Umek and Valentino Kanzyani to the Dutch audience. In 1996 he finally got hold of a pair of decks, took his artist name after one of clubland’s most recognized brands of hardware and started to deejay.
A dozen years after that Veztax holds his title of being one of region’s leading techno artists with bookings all over Europe. He’s respected as one of now nearly extinguished artists who prefer to walk their own path rather than following the herd. As he strongly believes there has to be some degree of intimacy among artists and crowd to have a great party time, he prefers throwing parties and performing at small and medium-sized venues, though he’s regular at major events too and not strange to challenges such as warming up stadium concert of Depeche Mode and Placebo.
Next to throwing his own parties he continues to support the scene and its young talents with his own independent labels. Vezotonik is well placed in the international techno scene, while Glorio Music serves as a platform for his experimental side projects. Working mixers and decks under his primary artist name or alter ego Glorio Veztacci, one thing can’t be denied: Veztax stands for energetic, uplifting, techno music and it’s not slave to any brand or trend in music industry.
